Zimbabwe and Women's Football
We often say women's football needs more support. Maybe. But I think what it needs first is more **visibility**.
If people don't see it, they can't follow it.
If they don't follow it, they can't become fans.
If there are no fans, where does the commercial value come from?
We're sitting on incredible stories every single weekend. Talented players. Passionate clubs. Communities that care. Yet so much of it disappears after 90 minutes.
The beauty of today's game is that we don't have to wait for television anymore. Every club has a platform. Every player has a voice. Every supporter has the power to introduce women's football to someone who has never watched it before.
A digital footprint isn't about chasing likes. It's about creating a trail that people can follow. Every post, every highlight, every interview and every matchday moment is another opportunity for someone to become a fan.
Women's football in Zimbabwe doesn't need to be discovered.
It needs to be seen.
That's how conversations become communities, communities become audiences, and audiences become a sustainable
game.
