The ZWMB US$10 Million Preference Share Issue comprises 10 million preference shares priced at US$1 per share, offering investors a fixed return of 24% per annum over a 10-year tenure, with the shares redeemable from year five. Proceeds from the issue will be strategically deployed to capitalise the Cooperative Debentures Exchange (CDE) with US$3.5 million, acquire Women-led Cooperative Debentures amounting to US$6 million, and cover fundraising and related transaction costs of approximately US$500,000, thereby strengthening market infrastructure while directly supporting women-owned cooperative enterprises. The transaction is advised by CBZ Capital, Chinawa Law Chambers, Corpserve, and Kres Chartered Accountants, with Co-op Pay Financial Services (CFS) acting as Co-Advisor.
