Tinashe Nyamudoka, Joseph T Dhafana, Pardon Taguzu, and Marlvin Gwese came together as a team with no funding, no industry backing, and a goal that sounded crazy — compete at the World Blind Wine Tasting Championships in France. They trained in Harare, blind tasting with what they had, and crowdfunded their way to the global stage. They walked into a room of the world’s best sommeliers and held their own.
