  • The Sunrise Campaign, in partnership with the Knysna Social Development Section, successfully hosted a Human Rights Awareness Campaign at Hornlee Community Hall, bringing together government departments, civil society organisations, law enforcement, entrepreneurs, and community members.

The event provided valuable information on human rights, disability inclusion, victim empowerment, and support services available to community members. Participants were inspired by powerful testimonies from Sunrise Campaign beneficiaries.

A special thank you to all stakeholders who contributed to the success of the campaign, SEDFA, Parliament Public Education, SAPS, Blue Ribbon Bakery, KAPPD, and the Knysna Social Development Section.

Together, we are building informed, resilient, and empowered communities where dignity, equality, and opportunity are accessible to all.

  • Strong organisations create stronger communities. Building the capacity of Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs) is key to advancing economic justice, empowering communities, and creating sustainable opportunities for those most in need.

When NPOs are equipped with the right skills, resources, and support, they can drive meaningful change and help build a more equitable society for all.
