The Johane Masowe Chishanu Apostolic Church, also known as John of the Wilderness – Holy Friday, is supporting the economic empowerment of its women congregants through a community broiler chicken production project featured on AllWomen Africa platform. Rooted in the church’s strong tradition of faith, self-reliance, and communal cooperation, the initiative enables women within the congregation to engage in sustainable poultry farming as a source of income and food security for their families. Through collective participation, shared resources, and market access opportunities, the project promotes entrepreneurship among women while strengthening community livelihoods and advancing the church’s commitment to practical, faith-driven development.
