The film will screen at UNSW SYDNEY | FOUNDERS, joining a global lineup of stories pushing the edge of what AI and cinema can do together. Set in rural Hwange, “Where Tradition, Wine and Wilderness Unite Us” follows Zuri, a filmmaker from the diaspora, and Tinashe, a young man reclaiming his family’s baobab wine legacy. It’s a story of memory, loss, and renewal — told through Zimbabwean roots and built with AI tools. After showings in London and at AI for Good 2026, _RUM & ROOTS_ continues its journey.
