We're bringing you Bruschetta from Italy - grilled bread topped with fresh tomatoes, basil, garlic, and mozzarella. Here's the scoop:
- 4-6 slices of baguette
- 2-3 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup mozzarella or bocconcini, diced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- *Zimbabwean twist:* Add a sprinkle of peri-peri seasoning for a spicy kick!
Grill bread, rub with garlic, top with tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, and a drizzle of olive oil. Voilà!
