·         Transaction History: Records of your deposits, withdrawals, Mukando savings circle pools, loan allocations, coupon payments from co-op debentures, and peer-to-peer transfers inside the allWomen.africa™ system.

·         Operational Data: Customer inquiries, transaction success rates, and data processed by your automated Merchant AI business agent.

·         To Manage Cooperative Banking: Processing your deposits into dividend-earning Cooperative Development Investments (CDEs), managing your internal Unit Trusts, and tracking loan repayments or credit balances.

·         To Facilitate Marketplace Activity: Enabling secure checkouts, managing Buy Now! Pay Later! distributions, tracking digital vouchers, and organizing local courier deliveries.

·         To Deliver Ecosystem Perks: Allocating your NetOne mobile data bundles and validating marketplace purchases to trigger automatic benefits (such as termly student health cash cover).

·         The Core Shield (Platform and SACCO Sharing): By using this site, you explicitly authorize allWomen Connect (Pvt) Ltd to share your registration, identity, and financial data securely with Uxpress SACCO management, internal committees, and financial auditors to fulfill your membership functions.

·         Marketplace Counterparties: When you buy or sell within the uXpress Marketplace, essential transactional information (such as shipping address and contact numbers) is shared between the buying member and the selling Merchant Cooperator to complete fulfillment.

·         Third-Party Service Providers: We share limited data with trusted partners under strict confidentiality agreements—including telecommunications partners (for NetOne data bundles), payment institutions (for external bank card or eWallet processing), and licensed underwriters (for tailored micro-insurance products).

·         Legal Obligation: We may disclose your information to government regulators, law enforcement, or statutory bodies if required to do so by the Co-operative Societies Act or an official court order.

 

4. Data Security and Retention

 

4.1 Security Measures

We implement rigorous administrative, technical, and physical security measures to shield your banking records and personal data. All financial transactions, account balances, and KYC data processed through allWomen.africa™ are guarded using industry-standard digital encryption, firewalls, and secure access tokens.

 

4.2 Data Retention

·         Active Accounts: We retain your data for as long as your Cooperator or Merchant account remains open.

·         Closed Accounts: If you resign from the SACCO by giving your mandatory 3 months' written notice, we are legally required by financial and co-operative regulations to retain your core financial transaction ledgers and KYC information for a statutory period to satisfy tax, audit, and AML compliance before permanent erasure.

 

5. Your Rights and Controls

As a valued member of the ecosystem, you hold the following rights regarding your information:

·         Access and Correction: You can view, download, and update your personal identity or storefront information at any time directly through your online allWomen.africa™ account dashboard.

·         Marketing Opt-Out: You can easily unsubscribe from the allWomen Africa Newsletter or promotional marketplace alerts by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email.

·         Account Closure: You can request the formal termination of your SACCO membership and the erasure of your social platform footprint by contacting our data compliance officer.
